URC YEARBOOK 2026

Our last Yearbook Editor decided to step down from the position after producing the 2025 Yearbook and we do not have a replacement for her.

Unlike the Areas which can earn money from Working Tests and training events, the Parent Body’s only revenue is the membership subscription (part of which is distributed to the Areas to help with their expenses) and this has to pay for all the costs of running this major National club.

Like everyone and every business in the UK, the URC is having to cope with increased costs and, even though the membership subscription was increased from 1st October 2024, finances are very tight.  The Treasurer would have been failing in her duty if she had not brought the situation to the attention of the URC Parent Body Committee.

Therefore, at its meeting in September 2025, and after careful consideration, the Committee of the Parent Body agreed various cost saving measures, one of which was not to produce a Yearbook in 2026.   This is a major reduction in expenditure which it is hoped will help towards putting the Club in an improved financial situation for the future.   It is also hoped that this will only be a temporary measure.
